Honestly, id have skipped college and gone to the military for 4 years and then gone.
I had no clue, wasted 3 years, went to the military and then went back.
But yes I would have done isds or engineering instead.

quote:I like that idea. I'd do some kind of engineering or computer programming or both.
I'd go to college forever.

Yes!
Even though I love my job, it just took me forever to finally get the job I love.
But I Would have went into Accounting or Engineering.
I always thought I was terrible at math, but turns out I'm really good at it. It's just that I was a lazy bastard.

Do you really need a degree to be a park ranger?

Also I'm in education, I love it and only work 9 months a year unlike you sucker.
But I would go into accounting or banking if I had it to again.

Majored in language arts education. If I could go back, I'd switch to just about anything. However I'm now getting to work in academia which has a really nice schedule, so who knows if a typical 9-5 with a more skills-based job would have been better.

I'd love to be an Industrial Designer. I'd have found a school that excelled at that and gone there...if I knew that existed back in high school. At LSU, na I did what suited me best.

I had a climbing partner out west who was a patent lawyer, IP to be exact, and damn his cases were unbelievably interesting. They were basically code detectives. He studied physics undergrad.

Can't get an undergraduate degree in physical therapy.

Most IP attorneys got their undergrad in EE or physics.

That is correct, which is why I'm happy.
I had been wanting her to get an advanced degree.

So is she in undergraduate kinesiology now, or did she graduate and is now deciding to go to PT school?

I'm a civil engineer. If I had to do it again I would do mechanical.

I would have gone to the Violin Making School of America or the Chicago School of Violin Making if I knew then what I know now. I'm a musician, with two music related degrees, but I've fallen in love with specific aspects of woodworking and instrument making.
