Well, I think keeping Rodie busy is important for everyone.

And you didn't need to do 12 studies to figure that out, amirite?

Well no sh&t! Of course the logical place is near Dow, the largest employer on the West Bank, which just so happens to he equally inconvenient from both the Horace Wilkinson Bridge and the Sunshine Bridge.

I am in Iberville parish so

But to be honest with you, I am tired of hearing about this shite. We don't need to hear about what studies show or who thinks what.. Just tell us when construction will start and where it will be built.

3rd Party and make it a tollway.

I do not disagree. However, someone needs to organize that 3rd party. The idea has been tossed around for years but no one has stepped up as that 3rd party.

I don't think "offer" is the right word.

GTFO.

Start your own thread about your shitty request for a bridge somewhere other than the location being discussed in this thread.

I said this 25 years ago. Would have giving this info to the state for $20 and saved millions on studies. Not to mentioned before that area got built up

the last study done by EBR firms found the northern loop going through EBR was the most logical, and now a WBR-sponsored study finds that a bridge in WBR is the most logical.

I think the OP is saying that a Iberville-sponsored study found that Iberville was the best place to put a loop/bridge, but I get what you are saying. This is one of the biggest problems why nothing gets done in this fricking state. Every local mayor, rep, etc. all has their hand out and becomes an obstructionist when they don't get their way. It's why he have a new fricking $400 million dollar bridge in the middle of nowhere (Audubon bridge) while I-10 continues becoming an even bigger mess

Ask NTTA in Texas (DFW) or Harris County Toll Road Authority (Houston) on how to get it started. Hell yall like paying for stupid things like traffic studies, pay people who actually do the lifting for real. They might even want to expand...

This bridge causes problems for the I10 bridge. Everyone is skeptical and can use that disaster as an example of putting a bridge in the wrong place.

I have a feeling this bridge fight will last another 10 years.
