He may have lasered your front bumper and not your windshield.

How many times did you say "yes sir" and "no sir" to a high school grad with a gun?

Probably more than he would say it to a lawyer in court.

Well I'm sorry. He also knew I was heading to work and didn't want me to be late. Very nice guy.

This is why it's complete BS that rates in Louisiana are so high because the claim of all the uninsured motorists. We know exactly who doesn't have insurance now. Boot their asses until they get insurance.

I was pulled over by a LSP yesterday doing 90 in a 65. He motioned for me to come to the rear of my vehicle and asked for my license. I informed him I had a pistol in the console. He cleared and secured it then Proceeded to write my ticket. He asked me to return to the vehicle, handed me the magazine and placed the pistol under my back seat. I lived and we both went our separate ways. It was amazing. Also, he was Black.

They're never there. one as you cross the bridge, another one by Franks and the one that got me was about a mile or 2 past Spahrs. All on motorcycles, all LSP shooting lasers and all were writing tickets at the time I passed them.

My V1 saves my arse on a daily basis. Are your running the latest software? Hammertime is running laser jammers, your V1 does not jam a laser signal. Typically when you get hit with laser it's too late, you've been caught.

I've been told I need to update my firmware. I'll give that a shot. I've been needing to do it because it goes crazy anytime I'm around the newer high dollar luxury vehicles and some 18 wheelers that have some sort of sensors on them. I was told by updating the equipment will eliminate some of those false alerts.

What does level of education have to do with it. I had a BA degree when I went to work for LSP in 1976. I said "sir" and "Mam" to millionaires and field hands. It is called respect until the person no longer warrants it. Time for self-examination perhaps?

It will eliminate some of them but I have the latest V1 firmware and Cadillac/GMC/Buick blind spot monitoring systems set off my K band. If you have an Android phone you can run the YaV1 app and block out those alerts. I also get K alerts on 5% of the 18 wheelers I pass. Also, make sure you have the junk filter enabled.

I never mention a gun. I lock it in it's lock box when pulled over. They need a warrant to open my box, so they need a warrant to know I'm carrying.

every truck owner should have one...

Or for the OTB poster

Sweet 3 digit numerical number you're going to have to spin when if you need the thing.

This. If I need to pull it out I won't have for all that shite.

I've never had or felt the need to let an officer know I had a gun.
