I have never had a real bad experience with a trooper. In fact i can name three times when they lied in my favor and wrote that I was going slower than I was really going.
The last time I was pulled over I was driving a car that wasn't mine that had those stupid led halo lights. I didn't know how to turn them off and got an illegal light ticket.
I was bummed about that. Then the trooper said I looked like I was under the influence, but he refused to give me a breathalyzer or any other test. He just did that stupid eye test that they can say whatever they want afterwards.
But he let me go and I took the ticket and gave the lawyer $65 and never heard about it again.

I got pulled over in 2010 by a Texas State Trooper doing like 92 in an 80 mph area of I-10 in west Texas.
NO ticket, just a warning to slow down and have a safe drive back to AZ

My youngest told me a story - she got off the late shift and was going through a DUI checkpoint. She had a pistol between her and the gearshift. She forgot until she was very close and decided to not futz around with it. Cop asked, "Why didn't you put your car in park?" She says, "Because I have a pistol right here." He takes it, clears it, runs her info, hands the cleared pistol back to her. Finally, he gives her the magazine back and says, "You're on the honor system to not reload before you clear the other side of my checkpoint."

I jammed a Causeway cop's laser last weekend. He looked at the gun like, "bitch, stay woke". It makes me feel good to know I have made it harder for cops to catch me breaking the law
Eta: For all of you white privilege people, I have had a cop tell me he could look up my insurance on his computer. No idea how, or even if it is true, but that's what he told me
