re: The question you should ask yourself with these police shootings - bigblake
failure to comply with orders should not result in death. If a perp has a gun or knife, then sure, no issue with the police killing him if he doesn't drop his weapon. but there is a litany of killings where the black man is unarmed and is killed.
So you don't think they should riot...

re: The question you should ask yourself with these police shootings - bigblake
you mean the lady telling the cops he doesn't have a gun. the video evidence was useless. if the shooting was legit, why not release the video from dash cams and body cams?
They already addressed this. It's so they can get eyewitness statements before they are tainted by the...
quote: I handed over my licence and registration but not my insurance. I told him I couldn't find it...he told me not to worry about it, he knew I had insurance. Honestly as someone who would like all SJW to be boiled alive in a vat their own tears...this really is probably white privil...

re: do any of you guys or gals have experience with unions for healthcare profession - bigblake
The Union is geared toward and protects the lowest level of employees. They say that every village has an idiot and I'm convinced the Union exists to make sure you keep them.
I was an administrator in another industry and this was exactly my experience. The worst employees were t...

re: Thanks again Trumpkins - bigblake
Romney wasn't facing Hillary Clinton. The GOP's best hope for getting a R in the white house is for Trump to dropout and for Romney to run in his place. Romney would win by 10 points....

re: DOJ report on Baltimore, pretty much what we thought - bigblake
I read about 15 pages of the actual report. I thought some of it was fair, but the beginning irks me. Essentially says the targeted black people live in segregated communities, subject to social injustice, no educational opportunities, no job opportunities, etc... Comes across as very political. ...

re: What software does an Analyst need to know? - bigblake
Excel craps out trying to manipulate any decently sized data set. Removing duplicate records from a file with 500k rows (small by most business standards) via Excel is incredibly inefficient. These guys obviously know more than you. Trust them and learn from them.
Truth....

re: What software does an Analyst need to know? - bigblake
Excel is really a great tool to quickly see trends with pivot tables and do some quick data manipulation, but it craps itself after a couple hundred thousand rows. That's where SAS (and others) come in. Takes longer because you have to hand code, but it'll easily handle tens of millions of rows. ...

re: What software does an Analyst need to know? - bigblake
I don't do independent consulting work but I know Ruby. You're probably the first person I've heard refer to it as "older architecture". Is your question regarding a web based application that's coded in Ruby (what made Ruby famous) or something independent of the web?...

re: What software does an Analyst need to know? - bigblake
Excel is a given, any person in a business job should know how to use Excel. Depends what type of analyst... Quantitative Analyst, or Data Analyst: #1 SQL #2 Python or R The rest are pretty company specific and something they'd probably let you learn on the job. SAS is good bu...

re: Woman shows her boss who's boss over dress code policy - bigblake
1st: This article is written using only one side of the story. Boss probably has a different perspective. 2nd: If someone is dressing up trying to taunt their boss and posting it on social media, it makes me think the boss's side of the story is probably the true one. 3rd: Crappy employees ...

re: Hillary's media director mad at media for "inflammatory" photo of cop killer - bigblake
BLM is a trainwreck of an organization IMO but they are NOT responsible for the shooting. The shooter is responsible for the shooting.
We agree on many thing, but they're chanting "no justice, no peace". The shooter just acted on that threat....
