re: Your periodic reminder that Americans DO want those jobs, we don't need visas. - bigblake
Your rebuttal to him was:
You have to prove that you couldn't get Americans to apply for the job in order to get HB1 visas. I think you're making this all up Or hired people illegally/pay them under the table.
You used H-1B visa in the beginning of your point,...

re: Why Were We Lied To So Much Growing Up? - bigblake
Four of the last six Presidents came from humble backgrounds. The founder and CEO of Starbucks grew up in the projects. Only a few people are going to do that well. But your odds are a lot less if you don't apply yourself in school.
Get out of here with your facts. Rich pe...

re: I'm getting rid of cox cable... - bigblake
I just dropped them. Price increase at the end of the year. Told them FIOS was cheaper... the lady did her job and told me it wasn't true, but I referred her to Verizon.com. They let me leave, didn't even offer a discount (I was on a really cheap plan). Have FIOS, really like it....

re: Can anyone imagine Bernie Sanders as Commander in Chief? - bigblake
I can't imagine him or Cruz being president. Bernie looks crazy, Cruz looks like a crook. I can imagine Trump as president because I saw the movie Idiocracy. Hillary is a crook, but at least is presidential looking....

re: How hard does Trump hammer Rubio on H-1B visas - bigblake
Why would he? H1-B visas have not increased since 1990 even though the economy is quite a bit larger than it was then. It is asinine to put a cap on H1-B visas when industries cannot get workers to keep growing - and we all need those industries to keep growing.
H-1B visa is one...

re: If I were a Democrat I would vote for Bernie Sanders - bigblake
I agree with maybe 20% of what he says (Libertarians and progressives agree on minimizing war and war on drugs), but the dude is horribly wrong when it comes to the economy and our economy is the best thing we as a nation have. I really question the genuine part. His net worth is ultra low. ...
If everyone is the same (same education, same skill set, same experiences), the society would not advance.
Do we need unskilled South Americans and Syrian refugees to advance, or can we select only the smart ones and still advance?...
