How is it "white privilege" if he got a ticket?

Why did you supposedly get out of your truck?

For some agencies, the policy is to have the driver walk to your vehicle.

"got a ticket" is just a code we use to placate the masses. What he really meant was that he and the cop told some racist jokes, had a good laugh and got a bump on his credit score.

I got pulled over a few months back for having a headlight out. Officer approached the driver side window and informed me that my headlight was out. I put my hands on the steering wheel where he could see them and said I know it's out, I just haven't had time to change it. After I responded, I informed him that I have a pistol attached to the steering column. He said no biggie and asked where I shoot. I told him normally Precision but I hate going there because it sucks. He said he used to work there. We had a good laugh and he let me go.

I got pulled over by Scottsdale PD coming home from running errands Friday evening. Had gotten my Jeep serviced at the dealership and they turned my lights from the auto position to off. Had been shopping at the mall and when I left it was dark. Realized a couple minutes in my drive my lights were off. Scottsdale PD realized it before I did.

Pulled over, young attractive white cop walks up to my window and asks for my license, registration, and proof of insurance. I smile and hand it to him, explaining the mix up with my lights. He asks me if I have any guns, drugs, or alcohol in my vehicle. I say no. He asks if I was drinking, I say no.

He goes to check my info. Comes back and hands me my stuff. I smile and tell him how embarrassed I am at the mixup. He tells me it happens all the time and wishes me a good weekend as he smiles at me and tells me I'm free to leave. NO ticket and also did not get shot
