Were you personally "working out" or were you "spotting" your "workout buddy"?
I was lifting and was trying to bring the 65lb dumbbell (OT weak, I know) up onto my knee before laying back on the decline bench. Didn't even get the dumbbell off the roller when I heard/felt the pop and immediately felt the pain.
ice and ibuprofren and I bet it calms down in 3 days
thing is, I hurt the same part of the same wrist lifting over a week ago. Nothing compared to this though, I just figured I was lifting too much or doing too many pushups. It's been hurting still this entire week, but gradually getting better. Whatever I did tonight was pretty bad though, so that's why I'm asking what it might be. Again, I doubt anything broke, but I don't know what could pop in your outer wrist. It's almost like I dislocated it for a split second (which I doubt is possible for a wrist)
