Bring over a 6 pack or a bottle of something then say "Dude, look. When you turn up your music, the bass comes right through the walls. I don't enjoy coming ask you to turn it down, but I have a 2 year old and when the music is on he has trouble sleeping and my wife and I just want to enjoy some peace and quiet. Can you keep it down at a reasonable volume? Maybe move your speakers further away from our house or something?"

I would talk to him again and explain your situation, you might be able to solve it but let him know that the
