I am 76 - my son is 56. My mom died at age 96 - my dad at age 86.

I have a cousin who is still alive in his 90s, but no living relatives older than that.

I was 10 when my great grandfather at age 102 - he still had a full head of black hair and didn't wear glasses - don't think he had false teeth, but I am not sure of that.

Oldest that i still am on speaking terms with is ten, and that's shaky at best.

Family is overrated and an unnecessary burden.
