Grandma. She's in her 90's and has lived with Alzheimers for 15 or more years. She was very active until she became ill and was/is a wonderful person. They were ranchers in Arkansas.

In all seriousness, that's an awful disease. I can't imagine fifteen years of it. Thoughts and prayers.

My mom's aunt is 103. She is in really decent health and of fairly sound mind. She lives in assisted living. She attributes her long life to never having kids. She is tired of living, everyone she has ever known is pretty much dead but her body will not give out.

My pawpaw in law just passed at 94. Was in decent health until the last year. He was a real Ft. Worth Stockyards cowboy back in the 1940s. I've just found out my wife's family had a monopoly on the Stockyards cattle trade until after WWII.

My great great grandfather is 174.Confederate Regimental Colonel, plantation owner, congressman.
Ashes in an urn on the mantel. Since January of 2009,the Urn shifts, spins, and the top falls off. All we can figure is it relates to obama inauguration. I got rid of the ridgeback after this started.
