I am 41 years old and I still kiss all three of my kids. 16,14, 13 years old and we still say" love you" too.

I don't know if I can remember my dad ever kissing me on the cheek. We always just hugged and from around 14 on we've done the handshake/hug thing.

It's obvious to me that most of the OT was raised by a bunch of barefooted hippie bisexuals and explains why this place is so fricked up.

No I used too but they do the ole pivot of the face on their own now. Don't even try the kiss when friends are in sight though. Not cool

My old man would have had to tie me down with winch cable to kiss me, but I don't think he tried much anyway.

Well I call this normal behavior but call it what you want. I know my kids are well mannered and well behaved and they Will be productive citizens when they leave home. Not part of the entitlement class that is ruining this country.

When my son returns from combat in the Stan, I will probably kiss him...anywhere on head, except on facial features, is cool! Kiss my other grown son too...daughters always...cheeks and foreheads!

I will do the same no matter how old they get. I am not having anymore so they can deal with it.

Sorry you weren't shown any affection as a child. I guess not everyone can be such a bad arse. Does explain some of your shitty posts in other threads though.

Or for a son to kiss his father. Some of the most touching moments of my life has been to see a son lean over a casket and kiss their dad good bye

Throw in hugs also! Nothing warms my hear than when my adult sons show up and wrap their arms around their mom and dad.

My dad used to kiss each of us when we would get out of the car for school. Eventually we got embarrassed by it and it kind of died out...makes me kind of feel like a little shite now and I'm sure I will look back after he is gone and wish I hadn't seen it as embarrassing.

No offense to you milady, but many also deem it strange to be a single woman into your 40's.

Ummm...I'm not close to 40 yet and I've been married for almost 2 years.

I was dating my husband at 29, engaged at 33, married at 34. That's hardly single at 40 Rag
