My boys are 11 and 8 and get a kiss goodnight every night. Usually on forehead but sometimes on the cheek. I'll do this as long as time will allow.

Son is almost 4, daughter almost 2 and I kiss them on the lips, neck, head, cheeks (we even nibble the ones they sit on sometimes) and my daughters chubby little thighs. I'll continue to kiss (age and place appropriately) them until I die.

But seriously there is nothing wrong with people showing affection to their children or parents. But I do think kissing them on the lips is pretty weird.

My Son turned 25 yesterday . I couldn't see him Yesterday, but he is here now and I just gave him a big hug and kiss!
On the flip side, My dad is a84 yr old Korean War vet/drill Sargent who has never told any of his 4 sons he loves us or ever kissed us. But his love for all 4 of us shows in so many ways. He was raised differently. Hell no one has ever seen him cry every.

I will always give my son a kiss on the cheek or forehead, and tell him I love him. There will be years where it might embarrass him if it's around others, but it's going to happen so he better get used to it.
