Been there. Much better options out there IMO. First thing is that there aren't really any good beaches. Once you walk in the water it's all seaweed.

Screw the Caribbean, what a racket. I've been all over the Caribbean, it's much of the same.

Agreed.

My issue that I am not a cruise hater but I don't want one every year for my limited time off.
Of course I have a relative that is just hellbent on booking whole family cruises so that Drives.Me.Nuts.

Belize scuba/snorkeling is the best in the world. So you have that. It's really neat stuff.

Add St. John to the list.

St. John is the Bees Knees, but ruinously expensive for the commoner. Beautiful place, the best that USVI offers, that is for certain.

Try the Excellence, Punta Cana in the Dominican. My wife and I had a great time there. Travel was easy

I second this. We went to Excellence in Playa Mujures (Outside of Cancun) I know you don't want Mexico neither did my wife but she absolutly loved it. But I'm not gonna argue with you but Excellence is Excellent.

And it's 21 and up and pretty much everyone there was for honeymoon/anniversary it was very quite and very honeymoony.

Look it up on tripadvisor. We want to go to Excellence again no questions asked.

I think you missed the MOST important part of my post.

We can't take that long due to work.

All of the hookers are $100 per hour. Some of the most beautiful women that this vast rock has produced are street walking, dong hopping profiteers. fricking love Costa Rica, but it's basically America.

Many male fishing trips are taken to CR, luckily I don't fish.

You do realize that Thailand is politically unstable and not a good place to travel to right now, don't you? Plus it's a little outside of the time parameter he set for travel.

True, I hate beaches so I left that part out.

Lots of outdoor activities to do there, many outside of scuba diving as well.

While I'm not a diver the snorkeling in Belize was just average. However, I'm told that Belize and Roatan are incredible areas for diving.

I have a 3 bedroom condo for 8 nights starting next Thursday at the Grande Bay resort in Cruz Bay. A buddy owns a condo there so I have a Suburban to drive for the week. The condo was $4600 for 8 nights which I consider priced well given the location.

The cave tubing, the Mayan ruins on the mainland and the Belize Zoo were all awesome.

I just wasn't a huge fan of Ambergris Caye. It was smelly and not easy to get around on. Plus June turned out to be the middle of the rainy season so that played a part.
