Not in the garage. It will make your garage smell like garbage.
At least someone else has the same thought process as myself
All the neighbors in my old neighborhood just had theirs on the side of their home next to the giant recycling bins the city gives you.

B. Back Yard
Beside the garage behind a privacy gate. There are 3 of those babies; trash, green waste and recycle.

Never garage in 8 homes. Trash stinks too much should be outside!

I made the mistake before. It wasn't every week, but it happened too often.
Now we keep it on a pad next to the house.

In garage. HOA guidelines
So HOA makes yall have stinky garages?
City distributes our trash cans and recycling due to the trucks that have the robot arms that pick up the cans(they need to be a certain size for the arm to pick it up). Even in HOA neighborhoods....I've always just noticed trash/recycling bins on the side of the home on pavers/brick area like someone else mentioned.

if you take out the trash and take it to the curb, it goes where ever you want it to go.
if she takes out the trash and takes it to the curb, then it goes where ever she wants it to go.

It depends on the layout of your house.

Garage, Open air with an alcove that hides the trash bins.

2 cans
Both outside on the side of the house.
It's easier for the help to bring it to curb, plus I don't want them in my garage.

Why can't you just save the $500 and just keep it outside on side of the house?

We use garbage bags with ties for all our trash and hose it out with Clorox every 60 days. Small price to pay for not being trashy
