From the sound of it, these aren't real Christians. These nothing more than attention whores, who use Christianity as a tool for their insanity.

If they are helping to push people away from mindless religion then leave them alone. They are doing noble work.

One time on mardi gras these fools wouldn't get out of the street to let me through so I just gave it the gas and watched them scatter. That was fun.

yes but they don't fall within the "Christian" genre if that makes sense

Meaning that the members are Christians but they don't push themselves as a "Christian" band.

Other examples...The Fray, Needtobreathe

Yahweh is a pretty good song

But to answer the earlier post, I listen a lot to Air 1 Radio, Switchfoot has a lot of "positive" alternative music . But it's not necessarily overtly Christian rock (like Jeremy Camp, 1 Girl Nation, Chris Tomlin, Jars of Clay, etc)

Doesn't that probably cover a lot of celebrities? (honestly curious)

That's fricking hilarious

I thought about going to this concert, but I'm not really that big a fan of Switchfoot.

Should've been there when the Varsity was showing The Last Temptation of Christ way back when.

Holy-moly did the Christians freak out over that one.

I heard Jesus was dining with sinners and tax collectors. I also heard He pardoned an adulteress.

Some have said he even turned water into wine as His first miracle.

Someone define a "real Christian" for me. 6,000 denominations claim to be real Christians. They can't all be right.

Yeah I love Needtobreathe. Garden is my favorite song(and an obvious Christian one if you listen to the lyrics). Such a beautiful song!

I agree. I like Switchfoot (as does my husband) and they have played at a bar in Scottsdale before and we would have totally gone if I didn't have to work that night.
