I know you're kidding, but they're conspicuously missing from this list. As are St. Barack and his Mrs.

Surely the city of New Orleans has a few million laying around

Impressed to see how many have donated. Very benevolent of everyone.

Saw on the golf tournament broadcast that Sergio Garcia pledged $2000 per birdie and $4000 per eagle this weekend. He made 5 birdies on the front nine today. I believe his wife is from Austin.

500K from Miley? That's probably one of the highest donation per net worth of anyone on the list.

Thats some crazy shite from Michael Dell.
I always wonder how this money is spent. I mean, there were hundreds of millions "donated" during Katrina but me and everyone Ive ever known was a victim and I dont remember a single person getting cut a check from anyone except John Q. Taxpayer via FEMA. And I think that was only to prevent the largest lawsuit in history, Every Business and Person in the City of New Orleans v. Pittman Construction, Marc Morial & Army Corps of Engineers.

Yea, when you're donating $36MM, I don't think money is a problem.
even the amount of people who donate $1MM like it's my $100 is amazing.

This is good, but why didn't any of these companies donate when BR flooded last year, or SC or Wva?
Because we aren't shite, in the grand scheme of things.
Trump came down here during an election when he didn't have to, and brought supplies. That meant something to a lot of people

She's worth 200 million

Miley is worth 200 mil.
0.25% of your net worth, while generous, is like $2500 to an average someone with a $1,000,000 net worth

It was still the largest non-corporate, non-Michael Dell, non billionaire donation that I saw.
ETA: Sandra Bullock at 1 million

And your president is the king of talking the talk and not walking the walk. I would be VERY surprised if he actually gives $1,000,000 or anything close to that. He'll say he did, but it won't be in a way that can be verified.
To be fair, Obama took 18 months after his pledge to actually donate to Kayla's Hands, and that didn't happen until 20/20 ran a special about it.
