There is gonna be so much waste and stolen money to come out of this.

But nice to see the private world helping out in a crisis.

Well the problem with Sergio Garcia donating money at the FedEx cup is that, Houston might wanna hope he is donating from the first 3 rounds because he will play average at best on the last day but lights out on the first 3 days.

Unbelievable. It looks like that would damn near pay to rebuild all the houses.

I hate to be a cynic but I think is going to be like the Haiti-Red Cross situation. People are going to give millions and the people on the ground are going to see very little of it. Meanwhile, the charity administrators are going to see their salaries double.

Who do they actually donate that to, and what says it will be used the right way? I would think when you donate that kind of money you could almost just pick a neighborhood to completely rebuild so some crooked arse CEO of a foundation doesn't get part

Houston is the 4th largest city in the country. I think the public will do a better job holding these organizations accountable. I hope I'm not wrong.

that's what's so cool about the JJ Watts fund, he pledged to go out and buy supplies and give them directly to the victims.

He hasn't donated yet. Add that to the multitude of things he's promised to do and not done. He doesn't garner much trust.
