Its fricking 2015 and we still rely on ancient technology to record flight details and audio. I know the same was said about the Malaysia flights, but enough is enough. They need to come up with something better. Pilots need to get their heads out pf their asses if they don't want to sacrifice some privacy to help further the safety of passengers. All of my communications at work are recorded real time. I don't see why they should get some special privilege.

1. Can't hear farts n burps on just video. Sound recording can remain the same way.
2. Sound WITH video - Hey... I do have raging insomnia. That may just solve my problem.
I know that all the mechanical details of the flight are recorded and can be interpreted by you professionals...
...but I can't help but think maybe one in every five crashes there are details that could be gleaned from video that aren't avail on the recorder.

I'm talking about recording audio in the cockpit and other flight data and sending it to a server real time so we don't have to rely on finding some tiny black box that may or may not have good data. It's just absurd to think that we still do this song and dance.
