Gender is a social construct, sex is what a person can not choose. At least not without having surgery but even then their chromosomes give it away. So I would disagree, a person can choose their gender.

i just want someone to explain to me how any non liberal, non "progressive", non SJW female is ever going to feel comfortable using a public restroom if all a creep/pervert/rapist has to do is throw on a wig and tell people he's a transgender. Me and my girl have talked about this a couple times in the last few weeks and I don't think she's on her own, in thinking, that she isn't going to be comfortable going to the restroom alone in a genderless or non-gender specific restroom.
and you can't blame her or any other girl for feeling that way. Why should 99% of the female population feel that way because of the 1%?
Here's a question for the OT men with a SO: If you watch your girl walk into one of these non-gender specific restrooms. Then seconds later, some transgender or dude in a wig struts in there, how do you react? I'm telling my girl to get out of there or am telling that freak they are going to have to wait until a real woman finishes her business before "she" whips the dick out from under her skirt to do "her" business.
