I always wrapped up with squats. Nothing fancy, just threw 3 plates on each side and repped it out. Didn't have that shitty "day after leg day" feeling either.
You were probably doing something wrong (ie half squats) if you didnt feel it

Indont get sore from anything anymore. When I add an exercise, I might be sore for 3 days max but then I don't get anything anymore. I add weight, I add reps, it gets harder. But no soreness. I can do an exercise till i can't phycially do the exercise anymore and I still don't get sore. And I know I'm getting stronger.
Try 5/3/1 followed by 5x10 on squats and tell me you aren't hurting after every workout

i've been working out for 23years. I can do the same routine for months and I get sore every time. Second day is always the worse. I don't think you are pushing yourself enough or you are iron man. But I can see that with that leg routine you got also
The second day after legs it hurst to sit on the toilet without pain.

Do a DC training leg day. Widowmaker is the toughest thing I've ever done. That and the calf exercise.

Same with me I am 42 years old with alot of years of lifting and get extremely sore each time. My opinion is if you dont work harder. Go heavier and make sure you squat deep even add a pause at the bottom. Giys at my gym that say they dont all squat 185 or do half reps.
Also Smith Machine squats arent squats. I see a guy put 500 on smith yet cant squat 2 plates on a bar. Also leg press is not squats.

Yea, but it was pretty cool to stack 17 plates on there and hit a few reps.

Leg press has helped me the most on deadlifts than any other lift.

Nah. I was referring to the leg day "can't walk" feeling after leg day. By doing squats after every sesh, my legs are conditioned enough(I think) so it doesn't hurt near as bad as if I hit legs only once a week.

I hate waiting for people that sit on their fricking phones for 5 minutes between sets.

If you do a true widow maker set like talked about above, you will be sore. Essentially you are using a 12 rep max and breathing between each rep for a few seconds until you get to twenty reps or pass out so make sure it's in a rack.
The 20 rep squat program has you take 90lbs off your squat then do 20 rep squats 3 times a week adding 5 lbs every time for six weeks. So if you squat 300, you would start with 210 and after 6 weeks be doing 300 for 20 reps.
Either one will make you extremely sore if you are doing them right and pushing until you get it or pass out or fail.
