That mainly got started because you usually want to keep Diesel engines running if it's just a short stop. They're more efficient hot.

I would turn them both off, turning a key ins't an inconvenience considering the alternatives.

Explosion wasn't big enough or any dead bodies, so it was no longer important

I worked there when it was good hope/trans america and it was bad then, I can only imagine how it is now.

I've been there 5 years now and they've just about rebuilt every unit there. Hasn't been a fire or explosion in almost 6 years.

Their are still plenty of good hope refinery racks and piping still in service that should have been replaced a decade ago.

I can imagine, I work at Momentive, and the main unit there was built in the 50's. A lot of the smaller companies dont dump as much money into the demo/repairing of old piping and equipment like they should.

I'm scheduled to test Thursday at Momentive.

Didn't you test last year?
Its going to be the same kind of test BTW.
There are I think 5 or 6 spots open.

Yes. I'm worried that they either won't hire me because I don't graduate until May, or that they won't work around my school schedule....but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. Dow is hiring interns again, and I think I have a great shot this time. 2 semesters to go, carrying a 4.0 average.
