..to either Denver, Washington DC, or Austin beginning in June. Offer came at the beginning of this week so I've already put a little time into thinking and I really like DC but COL is very high. Originally from Dallas, I have lived in New Orleans since I graduated from LSU 5 years ago. I am 26 and single with no ties. What's the OT's draw on these 3 cities? Any recommendations?

frick DC

My wife is from that area. Sounds miserable.

I'd be highly interested in the other 2.

I'd go to DC. I love it there. Never been to Denevr though, so my opinion isn't worth too much

I would choose either Denver or D.C. but I'm sure those places are stupid expensive to live.

But, you're young with no family. Do it.

I just can't get over the COL and the traffic in DC. It's insane.

I would base that solely on the weather though. I'd love to be able to snowski on the weekends, go to Broncos and Rockies games, and hike in the non-winter months.

Austin is like most of the rest of Texas. Flat, dry, hot, and you'd have to be around a bunch of Longhorn fans.

I would never live in DC.

DC is a huge ghetto with a big block of government buildings and insane traffic.

Denver and Austin are cool.

I'd move to the one without state income taxes.
