I don't understand why he would do this. This was his dream, but why torment his young daughter? I would want to give my daughter memories, but not like this.

I know you think you sound badassed. But really you come across as a stupid 14 year old kid trying to sound badassed who has no clue what badass really is.

Im not trying to come off as anything. Especially not "badass". I believe my posting history will prove that. I'm giving my honest opinion and asking a serious question.

If that's true you've got a long wag to go before you grow up.

She didn't actually get married, she was just walking down the aisle and getting pictures taken of that.

And that is implying what to a young impressionable mind? That it's ok if you never get married?

I can't tell if you're being serious or not. What I'm suggesting is not far fetched. I don't think this is a normal, healthy event, especially for an 11 year old.

That is a prime example of the not grown up. No wonder you have issues meeting people and I actually like most people.

I only asked him to define "grow up" because the term didn't fit the context of his comment based on my definition of "grow up". For me, telling someone to "grow up" is telling them to act more mature and well mannered.

The fact that you'd even entertain the question of what being grown up entails, tells me you've got a ways to go before you are in fact grown up.

Serious question, how old are you?

You're clearly overreacting to my statement. Maybe not having my dad anymore has changed the way I view it. I'm not saying I don't want family there, but a marriage isn't more or less important or significant because of who is there to witness it.

A marriage and a wedding are not the same thing.

You're right. However, i don't want a wedding just so I can wear a fancy dress and throw a huge party. The wedding isn't what matters to me. Again, maybe losing my dad is why I feel that way.
