not gonna lie, my allergies started acting up reading this...

When Jim Zetz, 62, was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, he was heartbroken for his 11-year-old daughter, Josie. Not only would he likely pass away before her next birthday, but his dream of walking her down the aisle at her wedding some day was all but shattered - that is, until wedding photographer Lindsey Villatoro of Love Song Events & Photography helped the family celebrate that special moment now, while they still can.

Having a kid at 51. Did he expect to see his grand kids?
But yes. Very sad.

I've often wondered if they actually did tear up or just feel like that's the appropriate response so they lie

Seriously?
I mean, it's not like it made me cry or anything, but if you read that and don't get hit in the feels at least a little bit... I'm not sure what to say.

Well it's obviously a story that should be classified as "sad", but I don't have any emotions after reading it

How does that lessen the heartache anyone in that family is feeling?

The girl is 11; kinda sad to see her obviously upset in the picture with her dying dad.

Considering that the average life expectancy of a man is near 80, it's not reaching to have some emotion.

Yep, just another weird phenomenon on the OT. Start a thread about being a man and crying then wait and see the responses. Most would be calling you a pussy and telling you to harden up

Do you think that girl cares how old her dad is?
Posted on 4/2/14 at 4:57 pm to Ed Osteen
My daughter will be 16 and my son will be 12 when I'm 62.I know just how it feels.

Damn, he's 62? Looks like he's 82.
