That is very cool and very sad! The look on that girls face is heartbreaking!

I'm sure battling stage IV cancer takes a little spruce out your step just a tad.

I lost my dad when I was 12. I was his only child, he was 67.

Ninjas cutting onions in here.
I don't even know what I'd do if my dad wasn't around to walk me down the aisle someday...

My first thought was dang this is taking this trend a little far for an 11 yr old, then I saw the photos and was like damn, that is sad.

When Jim Zetz, 62, was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, he was heartbroken for his 11-year-old daughter, Josie. Not only would he likely pass away before her next birthday, but his dream of walking her down the aisle at her wedding some day was all but shattered - that is, until wedding photographer Lindsey Villatoro of Love Song Events & Photography helped the family celebrate that special moment now, while they still can.
I have to be brutally honest. I'm a little torn on this one.
Yes I understand a dying man wants to walk his daughter down the isle.
But...she's fricking 11 and it's inappropriate and puts pressures on the child to get married and they should have just found something else nice to do together IMO.
I'm not hating, it's sweet, but I think a bit off

She didn't actually get married, she was just walking down the aisle and getting pictures taken of that.

You must not have kids, given your response. I can't imagine not having my kids, and I can imagine that it would kill them not to have me.

I hope this is a joke.
Even so, it's not a funny one at all.

I know you think you sound badassed. But really you come across as a stupid 14 year old kid trying to sound badassed who has no clue what badass really is.

I get what he's saying. I said earlier there are tons of other milestones in her life he won't be there for. I get the significance of giving her away, but the man who should be on her mind first and foremost when she gets married should be her will-be husband. Now it's going to be her dad.
I've lost mine. Sucks he won't be there to give me away one day but that's not the most important part about that day.
It's all still very touching nonetheless

No, they do feel them. They're just like Turkey though and still think it's cool to put up a front like their hardcore or something. Threads like this show who the Little boys of the OT are.

That didn't really make me sad at all. I suck at empathy though.
I guess I'm a sick frick or something
