I turn 40 in two months and game almost every day. Married with no kids so I have plenty of time.

I tried to describe to my wife what a good game is like (generally excluding sports games which I also love). She likes to read as do I. Take a good book...a decent video game is like that times 100. The immersion is incredible. And the reason I'll probably never stop.

Well, I've never really been a "gamer". I never got into COD/Halo/etc when all those were HUGE while I was in college. I was addicted to SNES/64 growing up. Then I got a PS2 in HS but mostly just played sports games. In college I had more stuff going on, so I would typically just play it some in the summers until it broke and I just said frick it. I'd still play my SNES or 64 though. Then I guess aroudn junior year I just kinda lost interest. I'm 29 now and still keep my SNES in my place if the mood ever strikes, I just never have the desire.

The only exception is mario kart on 64, which me and my friends will still play when we get hammered.

I played a lot in middle and high school as an escape. I played in college a lot until I got a serious gf sophomore year. Then, after nearly flunking out, I had to spend more time studying. Since I had a shitty, out of date laptop and no money (and thus hadn't bought a new game since freshman year), I slowly got tired with all of the games I had until I'd beaten them all multiple times and lost interest. By the end of my junior year, I pretty much had stopped playing them entirely except in groups for things like Mario Kart and Goldeneye.

Of course I do. I'm 33...Battlefield and MLB The Show are my favorites, but I really don't play nearly as much as I used to. Like you said, it is still one of my favorite things to do on a rainy day or when there's a little free time.

I don't play video games because I'm a grown arse man. Video games are for kids, nerds, and fgts.

Still play once in a while, Diablo III. Long time fan of the Diablo series, but it is fading fast.... I'm 43 with 2 kids, not a big deal. Like others have said, just a time waster while the wife reads or watches something on TV I don't care for.

I haven't played video games since the N64 was popular. Goldeneye was the last one I played regularly.

Haven't bought a system since that one.

same here, last time i regularly played was probably about 2002 or 2003. my boys and i would always get together to play nba 2k or tony hawk, but once we were all done with college that stopped, and my video game playing stopped. I never had the patience or attention span to get into playing RPG's or the warfare games. what sucks is i bought a ps3 and xbox360 when they came out and pretty much never used either of em.

Until the FIRE...I would sit in my LSU room and throw in some Tiger Woods golf in the PC once in awhile.... Hell I was 52 at the time and it helped me relax after a long days work with a few bud heavies and some golf and tunes..........

I haven't stopped, I just don't have the time anymore. Kids/Work/etc really limit the time you have to shoot zombies or Nazis.

Still play RTS games on the computer, and CoD or Madden on the PS3 when I can. I actually never got around to buying the last Call of Duty.

I haven't played video games since college. I got a Xbox 360 after college, but it just collected dust till I sold it and all my games for $100 a couple years ago.

I've never been a big "gamer" though. I played Battlefield: 1942 pretty hard in college, but that was about it.
