Late 20s here, demanding job, married with two toddlers, and still find a decent amount of time to play video games. Life's all about balance. Usually play on my ps4 but I've been on a huge pc kick lately. Steam summer sales get me every time.

I play grand strategy games from Paradox Interactive. Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis, and Victoria. They require a lot of thought and planning, so I feel like I'm actually using some of my brainpower. I'll play RPGs like Skyrim and Fallout every now and then, in addition to the ever-popular GTA franchises.

ETA: And NCAA Football

I started playing less when my son became better than me at the majority of the games. When PS4 dropped I bought him one and didn't see the point of getting another 1. If I could still drill him I probably would play more often, but now I will only pick up a stick when he isn't home

I'm like that. I will very rarely get a more immersive game and try it, but I really play more to unwind than to be truly entertained. Mostly FIFA these days.

There are certain things I am not exactly enthusiastic about, but that make my life a little more enjoyable and give me something to look forward to on a daily basis. Good coffee, audiobooks on my commute, good books on the kindle, etc. Playing some PS4 when time allows is one of them.

I'm not sure if you're aware of it but I'll give you a heads up. You come off as a bigger douche than TH03 with your post.

We get it you make a lot of money.

We get it that you're just too cool and everyone should adore you.

Fact is you still post on an Internet message board and wayyyyy more than most at that, your post scream insecurity as loud as a Southern Baptist doing and isle run. You're really transparent, it's quite sad.

All I play now is MLB 14: The Show on PS3. I like the Batman and Assassin's Creed franchises but spending $300 on a next gen system is not worth it to me.

If I'm in BR for a major holiday that has most of my old group in town, we will end uplaying some old school smash bros. My friends and I growing up are the opposite of what most would consider gamers but something about smash bros brings out the competition

26 FYI

I stopped playing video games when I was around 22-25. I'm 40 now and haven't ever looked backed.

He has his moments but that previous post came off as some built up deep seeded hatred.

I'm 36 and stopped around 07 - 08. The last time in was playing, I was pretty heavy into Call of Duty 2. I ended up getting the red ring of death for the second time and just said frick it.

Now that I have kids, I wouldn't mind one. At the same timr, it doesn't bother me not to have one. Once I start playing, before I know it, I'm 7 hours in and forget that I need to be a responsible adult.

I may or may not get one again soon. Now that I work shift work, it would give me somethung to do during the day when I'm off and the wife is working.
