Man, I can tell some incredible stories about this. shite is so easy for me,and I never felt like I deserved it. Maybe I just loved the excitement of starting over, and doing what it takes,to get to that point, where you know, you got it made..and that scares the hell out of you more than anything.

I can understand that. I like the unknown, starting over never scares me. I'm getting a bit old for it but I get restless, which I think is the fear of being complacent. I love the challenge of a new start, job, relationship, etc. I get bored very easily with the routine.

I read your posts, me and you are very much alike..I am probably 10 years older..The adventure has been killer, and it ain't done yet.

I just don't feel.. like I always have to just do it by myself anymore.

That was The way I was.

One thing that is happening,differently...I think maybe..there once was jealousy from my brothers, close family and friends, that I could do somethings so easily, and go on to something else and master that also. That I should have to give up 1 thing,to be good at something else.

Now they take pride in having me as a friend,brother,whatever....

Everything has come so easily for me, I've developed an attitude that I live by my own set of rules. The normal rules just don't apply to me. This has led to some less than stellar life decisions on occasion.

I got choleric. That personality test is very basic in its assumptions. 3/4 are right, but the rest are wrong.

The problem with getting my personality type right is that I change depending on the situation and people involved. I even struggle to answer much more specific personality tests. The only way, IMHO, to gauge me would be asking about a ton of different theoretical situations

Lol it may be basic but it nailed the personality you display on this website. It also got Roger right.

Also the explanations and description provided were more helpful to me than any Meyers Briggs or other personality test I've taken.

I'm not much different IRL than I am on here

It just hits the basics, but gets some specifics incorrect (as do the other personality tests). The way I deal with things can do a 180 depending on how I feel at the time and the people involved. I could take it in a couple of hours and get something different

Living in the moment is so fricking cliche' it is ridiculous.

But I will be damned if I can do it.

I always look ahead. ALWAYS. it's maddening. Looking forward to what? Death? I'd like to live to a ripe old age.

Yes, and Im currently paying for it right now. Just lost a person I love very much due to it. It's a shame that it took it getting to this point for me to actually reach out for help. I never thought I would be here.

What's going on man? If you feel like expanding

If not, I understand

Charisma is talent, Roger. Never forget that with humans, perception is reality. Some of the most incompetent people in the business world have continued to move up the ladder because they had the Svengali-like ability to simply convince people that they were brilliant based on confidence in what they were saying and good looks. Even though they were completely full of shite. Say it with confidence and they will believe anything, is my motto. Baffle them with bullshite until you actually know what you are talking about.

Just ended a long term relationship with someone I love very much and Im coming to the realization that I was at fault and lived in denial throughout much of it. I could have acknowledged things in the past and that could have put us on a different trajectory to the present, but I was foolish and prideful. It's a shame that it's taken this event for me to finally succumb. I'll get through, just will take time.

Make damn good money and great career however personal life is borderline shambles it seems. 2nd marriage will prob come unglued at todays counseling session and the first exwife constantly has her hand out for more money. I have a tendency to stick my head in the sand to avoid issues.
