Yes. If you are a man and listen to girl music like matchbox 20 or maroon 5 you are a disgrace to mankind. Get a hold of yourself.

I gotta admit. I think I fall for the same thing you do. At the end of the day, what you wear, what you listen to and how you sound etc... all of these are obvious indicators, in general, of the type of person you are. It doesn't mean I can't "like" a person that's super into hip-hop, but I'm almost assuredly not gonna have them in my life in an extra-curricular way.

This is such an absurd conclusion to draw. If you look at the way I dress, my career, and how I sound, there is no way that you'd know that I listen to hip hop. Same with some of my good friends.

Seriously, when I'm in someone's home, casually checking out their bookshelves and music collection can give great insight.

If you're in their home already, shouldn't you already know who they are and what they're about?

Unless you sell those $5,000 vacuum cleaners, that would make sense

I will admit that I have a hard time befriending folks who like bro and/or pop country.

Im with you. "Pop Country" isnt country. Its pop music with a country accent.

Youve lost me. Some hip-hop is really good. Same problem as country music. You have to go old-school or underground to find the good shite.

I have a hard time considering RAP fans to be adults. Also think bro country fans are high school drop outs.

I pretty much judge everyone I meet based on their personal decisions. How they dress, music, physical appearance, music choice, manner of speaking.

It isn't that there aren't decent people who listen to bro country, they are just less likely as a group to be people I want to be around. I could say the same about men who shave their arms or wear skinny jeans. Women above size 12 wearing yoga pants or above college age wearing pants with ridiculous sayings across the arse.

I reserve the right to change my judgement based on additional information but it is a pretty damn effective way to keep me from wasting my time on people I probably won't like.

I judge people by many things, depending on my mood. Music is one of those things.
