Sounds like you're mad nobody wants to be your friend or hang out with you so you take your anger out on here. Typical.

I get judged all the time because I'm a huge Reggae fan. Everyone thinks I'm this big pot smoker but I quit a long time ago.

Nah, I don't judge. If that was the case, I'd hate my entire family for listening to country music, because I really don't like the music.

I find that music embarrassing to my people.

Can you tell me who "your people" are? Not a huge fan of "bro country" but I definitely want to make sure I'm not around "your people" when I happen to listen to it.

Appreciate your efforts to have everyone conform to your likings. Gotta love people like you. You always know whats best, eh?

Agreed-

For the most part I ascribe to I Corinthians 13:11-

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."

I listen to a wide variety of music, but I'm not really into music that much. I find most new music that comes out is total shite. I listen to hip hop and indie rock the most, but typically only a few hip hop artists (Logic is my "go-to"), none of that mumble rap bullshite. As far as indie rock (or pop) goes, it's my wife's preferred genre so I just listen to whatever she puts on.

ETA: If you listen to modern country music, bullshite like Miley Cyrus, or think Drake is the "best rapper" right now, I probably think you're a mental midget.

Not by the genre, but by their propensity to listen to absolute garbage. I don't care if you like a style, just like the best stuff if that style. And be able to discern the difference between brilliant musicianship and bubblegum. But then again, we are a family of musicians/ musically obsessed ( except Mrs Pimp who listens as she is told).

Yes. If you are a man and listen to girl music like matchbox 20 or maroon 5 you are a disgrace to mankind. Get a hold of yourself.
