Coffee helps productivity. Honestly, its a good investment for employers to give it for free to employees.
And completely stupid to charge for it. That is pretty outrageous.

We're supposed to pay 50 cents per K cup that we use. I just kinda don't worry about it and may throw a dollar in the jar once a month or so...but yeah coffee should definitely be free.

We really do have free gyms, free gourmet coffee options, a starbucks barista, free snacks, and a very cheap cafeteria with several different stations with different themes. Food is rarely more than 6-7 bucks and comes out of our paycheck if we choose to scan our ID badge.

Didn't even know charging for coffee at work was a thing. We have an entire kitchen of food, drinks and coffee

I worked for the Federal Government for 25 years. We paid for our own coffee. We also paid for parking.

There's cafe' in the building that sells Starbuck's coffee and pastries and stuff. But the break room coffee is free.

No, we have Community coffee for free over here. That doesn't stop a horde of idiots from wasting $8 on Starbucks before they come to work though.

Oh yeah, my office has free coffee, free snacks, a game room on my floor with a pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, projection screen tv hooked up to a wiiu and an xbox 360. People play rocket league in there all day. And we're getting a massage room. BEAT THAT
