How do the LGBs of the OT feel ?

I've asked my LGB friends this question and they aren't happy about it. However my gay friends are real conservative so I'm looking for other opinions.

You forgot the Q. It's now LGBTQ.

Wait another month and they'll add another group to this protected class.

I would doubt it. I've run across a handful of trannys in my life and they certainly seem off the reservation.

For a glossary of terms the University of Michigan is on top of it.

Not really. My best friend is gay and a doctor and he's about as conservative as they come.

Didn't know that someone putting their dick in a dude and liking it precluded them from being conservative.

Not really.

Many gays were pushed to the Democratic side as it was their belief that religious conservatives and Republicans disliked them and dehumanized their choices.

Now that gay marriage is no longer an issue, there is a possibility to bring them back into the "small government" fold. However, if you are looking for them to vote Republican, that will remain difficult as long as they see in their eyes that a substantial portion of the party voters don't like them.

As for the "T," I've had many "FULLY SUPPORT" say Caitlyn Jenner, however, I don't know if that is because they truly see nothing wrong with it, or it is because they know how it felt to be deemed mentally ill in the past and don't want to make that same accusation against someone else.

They forgot "Homosexual" but I guess that would be too broad of a term.

A little too much political correctness in there for me to care.

All of the gay guys I'm friends with are small government types. It makes sense.

You must not have met many gay people. Many may be more liberal in social issues. But politically, they run the spectrum.

Never heard of the Log Cabin Republicans?

I stand corrected. I guess I just fell for the stereotype.

actually before the 2008 / 2012 election: the LGB community was overwhelmingly conservative, and did not vote for D's -- as a general rule, they are more financial savvy, and smarter than their straight counter-parts... and just didn't like the taxation platform of the Dems **and prefer smaller government**.
