It's spelled the same but over there they pronounce it "hurricane".

Fun fact, hurricane Debbie hit Ireland in 1961, but probably not as an actual hurricane at that point.

Jim O'Cantore is headed for Cork City.

This year's crop of Lucky Charms is threatened.

Technically you're right because it will be extra-tropical. But it will have hurricane force winds.

A tropical storm hit Spain in that crazy 2005 season.

Its weird to look at that map and realize that London is farter north than Quebec and Montreal. Or that Paris is farther north than NYC.

This is why Napoleon and Hitler had such a tough time invading Russia. Moscow is at the same latitude as Hudson Bay, Canada. Hardly anyone in Canada lives that far north.

It could be still tropical if it's moving fast enough, if you believe the models. That being said, staying fully tropical at like 60N would be ridiculous.

Only fitting that a hurricane beginning with the letter "O" is one that will hit Ireland.

The Tom Petty documentary on Netflix had Tom talking about a hurricane that hit England back in the day that interfered with one of his shows. I thought he was kidding.
