I dont know if she stayed or not. For years, you never really saw anything happening there. Still dont. The people that moved kinda keep to themselves and I guess try to not draw attention to the home.

I was working at Mason's grill when (I think) the sheriff's rolled up with Sean in the back seat if one of the SUVs. They looked around the back of the property and along the drainage canal but they wouldn't tell us anything.

At some point during this time, I was outside sweeping our front porch and I looked up and there was this older guy standing about 15 feet away from in my front yard looking at me. I jumped and he goes “just checking the water meter. Hey - isnt there an old lady that lives here?” I said “no” and he goes “oh, ok, I thought I remembered her living here.”
The he walked away. I ran inside and looked out the window until I saw him drive away in some little piece of shite hatchback car. Not a water company truck.
After they arrested him and posted his picture everywhere I called the tip line and told them that I thought SVG had been at my house telling me he was checking the water meter. He was already in jail but I called anyway. I probably sounded insane.
I can’t say for sure that it was him, but It was an older, skinny white guy with a mustache and glasses and he was lying to me about who he was and why he was in my front yard. It was weird.

Yep. White Chevy work trucks. Which are extremely common in the Baton Rouge area with all the plants.
DTL never owned one. He drove a small Japanese car - like a Mitsubishi Galant or something similar.

Yeah the FBI really fricked up the profile.
IIRC, it was an older cop at a small town police department (Zachary I think) that broke the whole case.
