Context- Urbanites should not be allowed to kill dogs, there are public and private options for this especially in an airport toilet. Had she lived on a farm and one of her bitches gotten pregnant then she can do what she likes with her stock.

Ok, we are getting somewhere. So you then are ok with me having a pack of 100 dogs in my field that I raise purely for slaughter. I will eat them or sell them at the butcher. They will be kept in some shitty living quarters though, much like this

We cool right?

A dog is an animal... no matter how much you think it's a family member, it's not.

I have no idea of the correlation between these 2 statements...like at all.

You can not consider dogs part of a family but also think people shouldn't be able to do whatever they want to their dogs, legally.

I would value some dogs more than people and some even more than family
More than people who are scum, sure.

I know people like to use the old cliche, if your dog and a total stranger were hanging off a cliff and you could only save 1 blah blah blah...whoever says they'd choose their dogs should be evaluated for mental issues..and I'm not saying that sacrastically, it's a totally absurd idea.

What the frick? Yes it should be a felony and that bitch should be drowned. fricking savage. I would happily put a bullet between her eyes if I thought I wouldn't immediately go to jail because I don't know how to get away with murde

She's the savage? You're the one chest thumping about happily killing another human being over a dog?

Even ISIS would think that's extreme.

But the cow he raises just for slaughter is cool? Sometimes humans are funny
Do you kill mosquitos and/or roaches if you see em in your house?

Of course I do. I love my dog and would protect her with all my might. I just find it blindly hypocritical of people to be fine with torturing the shite out of cows just because it suits their personal preference

I think you're building a strawman here, though.

I'm guessing most people who eat McDonald's don't remotely have a clue as to the process of where the hamburger comes from. You may know the slaughter, obviously, but not so much the rest of the process.

You're morally bankrupt.

Just because something is not moral does not make it a felony. What makes a dog any different than a cow, pig, or chicken? We slaughter those by the millions every year and no one bats an eye. Should we prosecute Tyson chicken for the "murders" they commit each day?

No I'm not ok with torturing or cruel living conditions for any animal, regardless of the intent to eat it, keep it as a pet, etc.

You'd think as humans with higher level thought processes, we would see how messed up inflicting intentional pain on another animal is, but in my experience it's been just the opposite.
