In this fanciful scenario, the Ukrainians are on the offensive. They need more fuel and ammo, and especially people, which they are running out of. Even if the Russians withdrew there would be enough Russian Crimean militia...

The HIMARS were key in forcing the Russians to place their ammunition, C2, and other logistics points further back, but the Russians have adapted.

Based on my experience, I don't think they are that smart and focused. They do have a lot of antipathy toward the Germans, French and Italians. They love to suck British cock. But they hate the Russians. If there is any intelligent design, it is being conducted by the British.
