I just did it.. 182. I've been lifting more than doing metcons and my cardio isn't where it should be.

Also battling a groin issue and it feels like someone is jabbing a knife into it right now. Those box jumps landing in a deep squat set it off.

I just started Crossfit about a month ago. I decided that since we would use 17.1 for the Friday WOD's anyway that I might as well sign up for the open. I scaled and didn't finish but I felt that my 215 score wasn't bad for being a month into working out again.

That's a good score for just starting out, scaled or not.

There are 3 types of people who start out in Crossfit. Those who are lifters but lack cardio, those who have good cardio but lack overall strength, and those who lack both.

Attack the weakness and forge ahead.

I only got 180 reps... I'm looking forward to failing again this friday on 17.2

Bump for 17.2

Rounds 1-2

50 Foot walking lunge, 25 feet down, turnaround, then 25 feet back. Dumbbells in front rack position. 50lbs for men 35 lbs for women.
16 Toes to bar
8 Dumbbell power cleans (one head of dumbbell must make contact with floor)
Rounds 3-4

50 Foot walking lunge, 25 feet down, turnaround, then 25 feet back. Dumbbells in front rack position. 50lbs for men 35 lbs for women.
16 Bar Muscle-Ups
8 Dumbbell Power Cleans (one head of dumbbell must make contact with floor)
Rounds 5-6 – return to first triplet

Rounds 7-8 – return to second triplet

Follow in that order if you hit 8+ rounds.

AMRAP in 12-Minutes
