That's not everything I said. I'm obviously not untrained in combatives like the cop so my opinion in the situation is invalid.
Then stop second guessing the cop's actions.

What do you all think would happen if a teen charged at another teen in a fight? Justifiable to shoot him to death? Right.

I can second guess whoever the hell I want. The cop shouldn't have been a cop and should not have shot the teen 7 times.

The kid wasn't killed over bright lights. He was stopped for that reason. He was killed because he assaulted an officer AFTER choosing to not be compliant with a lawful request. If people would stop pretending they have a law degree after watching a couple of youtube videos and reading google this shite wouldn't happen as much. If you have a problem with the lights on a cruiser, comply with the officer then afterwards file a compliant. If you think you're being treated unlawfully, COMPLY, then afterwards file a complaint. Let the judiciary system in this country do it's job. On both sides.

Comply or Die, that's the new motto for some police these days.
And some of you jackasses defend them for it.

Except he isn't charging another teen. He is attacking a police officer who is attempting to arrest him. Not a school yard fight. So you think that the kid is incapable of inflicting serious bodily harm to the officer?

Still think they need to fire 3/4 of the cops serving and then take the money saved and double the pay for all good cops. Hopefully would attract better human beings to the profession and not cops who feel the need to whip out their dick because someone tries to let them know that they had their bright lights on.
Kid was still in the wrong and should have obeyed the officer's commands. They did seem like lawful commands under the circumstances. Problems arise when cops start giving unlawful orders and shoot you for rightfully refusing. Didn't seem to be the case here.
I didn't see the attack on the officer so I'll assume it actually happened and the cop was justified at that point. But at some point one of 2 things will happen. We will figure out that the death penalty isn't warranted on such meaningless crimes or citizens will begin shooting cops in self defense at a higher rate figuring it's better to be alive and fight it out in court as to whether it was self defense or not instead of being dead.

They are suing? Lol..shows what type of trash raised the kid. Why the frick would you sue? Its not going to bring him back.

Kid was too blinded by the chance to become a YouTube celebrity that he didn't realize he was putting his life in danger.

ETA: While I believe it is legitimate probable cause to be stopped for leaving your bright lights on (sign of impairment), I don't see how "flashing" your bright lights quickly should rise to the same level. Especially when the cop admits that there is an issue with his lights and has previously pulled over other vehicles for "flashing" him. Dick move by the cop trying to look for reason to pull people over.
That being said, I believe cop had right to defend himself by using deadly force (even though 7 shots seems excessive) CLEAR AS MUD!
ETA: Answered my own query.
The parents are claiming that it was an “unlawful stop” to begin with, but in fact it is illegal in Michigan to flash your high beams at another driver within 500 feet. It’s a civil infraction that carries a 2-point penalty on your license so yes, you can be pulled over for it.

Yeah a cop goes instigates a fight and kills a kid. Just another day at the office.
