I only watched once, but it looks that around 5:20 the teen charges at the police officer. When these kids gonna learn?
Cliffs: Cop pulls over teen bc teen flashed brights at the cop. Teen explains he did so bc cop had his brights on and he couldn't see. Cop asks for his ID and he refuses. Cop ultimately tries to pull him out of the vehicle and the kid still resists. Cop pulls out taser and kid exists vehicle. He gets on the ground and the cop attempts to cuff him but things go bad. Kid gets shot 7 times and dies.

You forgot to mention the kids race. Because lately thats all that matters in these situations.

I purposely left it out . Dumb kids are dumb kids. You just won't see the dumb white ones on the news as much

I'm wondering when victimless "crimes" like flashing a high beam won't be litigated on the side of the damn road.

Only criticism of the cop is that he should've tazed him sooner.

Some of these new headlights are too damn bright.

Agreed.
And to clarify to the poster above. The cop never had his brights on (so he says). The kid flashed at him to say hey turn your brights off. The cop turns around and then flashes to show that they were never on.

Some of the new lights are brighter than they used to. Scenario: Two citizens meet on a dark stretch. One flashes... The other does U turn, stops them, approaches them, provokes them, pulls them from car then punches them.
Citizen A calls cops for assault. Who is in the right? Puncher or high beam guy?

No problem with that shooting

I understand the point you're trying to make, but everything can be avoided through cooperation. Unfortunately all of these libtards decided to start recording police and posting vids on the Internet like they're invincible. Kid follows suit and somehow thinks he's above the law. When a cop speaks you listen, when he tells you to get down, you get down. It's simple man.

Yep, I've been pulled over four times and only came away with two warnings and never shot. I was nice to the cop every time. That could have something to do with it.

Kid liked playing stupid games

It's not that simple, man. Discretion in a victimless situation is paramount. Here's why
The cop, if he was simply trying to inform the driver of his wrong, didn't need to lead with "license, registration and POI". Why even ask? Shouldn't he simply say "high beams are dangerous in the dark, agreed, please be careful using them while driving home."
The high beams were his PC for other shite. This wasn't a PSA.

Well, if in your scenario, "the other" is a police officer and is making a routine traffic stop, then that person would be in the right. And I think you're confused about who was doing the provoking in that video. Cop seemed very reasonable to me and gave the kid ample opportunity and time to cooperate.

I'm really trying to figure out why the cop felt so threatened by a teenager charging at him that he had to use deadly force to stop him. Why couldn't the cop tackle the kid and then forcefully cuff him?

Cop totally reasonable, more patient that I would have been in the same situation he was in.
Kid too busy wanting to record it all so he could boast to the world what a badass he was disrespecting and resisting lawful authority.
Sad thing, he has a family somewhere who will be sad for the rest of their lives. What a dumbass kid.
