He should sue him for not being funny, impersonating a comic.
Also, while he's at it, sue that Samantha brown for impersonating a comic.

Aww, poor mining baron got his feelings hurt by a comedian.

I thought it was funny. He even made fun of himself a couple different times. Made fun of his own appearance and said his job would be automated and he would be replaced by a British teapot that just spouted depressing statistics

First off do you really think Oliver's lawyers didn't go through this and make sure it wasn't foolproof?
They probably did there best.

Secondly, what if Hillary sued Hannity for all the shite he's said about her? Would that change your mind a bit? No, you'd be calling her out.
I don't watch one sides pulpit spewing. No matter who is doing it. It's like watching ESPN these days.

So basically you just admitted to espousing an opinion of the situation based on zero fact or actual personal knowledge of the situation? Tight.

Your parents did their best, too.

He cited his source well there.

Oh please, you didn't watch the piece.

When he said the main story was going to be about coal, I was kind of disappointed and thought "how entertaining is this going to be?"
About ten minutes in, I was thoroughly entertained. Oliver could do a story about a can opener and make it good.

Lol at the OT downvoting this. I'm starting to think this website's median IQ is below that of the nation.

I was more referring to the counter evidence he has paid for to prove ongoing seismic activity before during and after the collapse.

Oliver is funny, plain and simple. His views are way left, but that doesn't mean he doesn't make some valid points. More times than not he is funny about it.
Also to the people saying what does political affiliation have to do with civil suits / calling out snowflakes. It's hypocritical. You can't preach one thing then go out and do the opposite. If they were really against the "snowflake society" they wouldn't perpetuate it by putting it into practice.
I say this as a conservative.

what an absolute trumpflake pussy.

Only a dipshit would think this was anything more than Murray's usual litigious bullshite. And even bigger idiot would think that the coal baron has the slightest chance of getting a dime.

Lots of bitter #NeverTrump's in this thread
He won, deal with it, white knighting for John Oliver and putting down coal miners won't change the fact he is president

Oliver didn't offer an objective fact re: the cause
he reported the conclusion from a government report

Aren't you upset with Trump's Muslim positions, especially given they want to wipe out the Jews?

You mean like when Baylor paid for evidence that "proved" the economic impact of Texas A&M joining the SEC would cause a reduction of $217.2 million in gross product and 3,050 jobs on the Texas economy? Or when tobacco companies paid for evidence that "proved" smoking does absolutely no harm to the smoker? Or when US automakers went to Nixon claiming that being required to add airbags would decimate the US auto industry?
