Stupid.

To fight the ash borer beetles (native to Asia) that are an invasive species that are destroying trees around Colorado, they are importing wasps from China that they hope will take hold and fight the beetles. What could possibly go wrong? We have plenty of evidence that introducing species into foreign habitats has always turned out swimmingly.

Next thing you know they will be recreating the entire Chinese biome in Colorado. You see what happens when you legalize the devil's lettuce? You get all kinds of stupid half baked plans. fricking stoners.

We have some invasive plants in a public area in my city that was too difficult to get to, so the powers that be put up a fence around it and brought in sheep. It's pretty crazy driving by and seeing a bunch of sheep living in this little section just eating away.

, they are importing wasps
I can't come up with any scenario in my head that results in this ever being a good idea.

Louisiana & Texas do this to fight Salvinia. They breed and introduce Salvinia Weevils to infected lakes.

they will send in "wave after wave of" Chinese needle snakes, then snake-eating gorillas, and then "when wintertime rolls around, the gorillas simply freeze to death

I thought all kids were taught to ask why one swallowed the fly. It is right there in the song and everything! I think we all know where this is headed. That old lady has to swallow a cow.

We did that for a park in New Orleans. The place was a solid carpet of Cat's Claw. The goats were and still are chomping their way through it. That is if the neighborhood kids don't kill them all first.

Fun Fact: In College Station, they call that a brothel.
