Problem is there are enough liberal whites that don't give two shits, a president that has tipped the voting scales by passing bill after bill in favor of gays, Mexicans, unions (bailouts),etc. That white Power presence you talk about is gone. I just think we are going down a path that the government will control everything because they will hold the majority come election time. What do you wanna bet that illegals will be allowed to become citizens next year?

The Beauregard and Lee monuments are both federally protected. They pretty much did nothing but waste their time with this.

If black lives matter so much then stop killing each other in record numbers. How about quit having babies just to get more on your welfare checks and start raising the ones that they already have. How about almost 70% of black babies being born to single mom's. Maybe they need to look in the mirror and look at the real problems and quite using excuses like the confederacy.
Eta: this not directed at all black people just the tards that walk around and protest while acting like don't know I just mentioned.

I went to Robert E. Lee elementary in NO. I don't know when the name was changed to McNair. I think in the 90's. Makes me sick.

Lee inherited a couple of slaves when his mother died but he never bought slaves. He never believed in slavery and most believe the only reason he kept the slaves he inherited was to take care of them until they could find work on their own. The slaves he freed is his father in laws slaves based on his will. (Who was a grandson of a guy with a prominent monument in Washington DC)
A lot is written here from his letters on how he really felt about slavery.
