Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

My children will in all likelihood never see Lee facing north.

Maybe start burning the Confederate Archives in BR too? I am sure many people find those offensive as well.

Landrieu is a fool.

Isn't the Lee monument on the national registrar of historic places? If so it cannot be moved by federal law correct?

Can't wait til these monuments get taken down. Now the hoodlums/thugs/scumbags can start becoming responsible and productive members of society

If shite like this happened up north or even in a border state, no problem. If you live in the south and are offended by Robert E Lee gtfo.
It's the south dirt bag...

Well they should just go ahead and remove any mentions of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson while they are at it they owned slaves. Hell, why stop there? they should remove any reference to any white males who lived before the civil war in the south. Since we are on this path, we should go all the way because I don't believe in half-assing.

How can you remove those statues and keep Jackson's up? That guy committed waaaaay more atrocities than any of those confederate generals combined.

Yes and yes.
Although I'm sure the SJWs at the federal level will either look the other way or pass this right on through as an exception due to all the racism and oppression it has caused blacks to go through.

frick that. Across the street from the Whitehouse is an exact replica of the statue in Jackson square. Funny thing is no one knows which is the original.

Seriously don't get it.. Grant owed slaves. Lee owned none. But Lee is offensive... if there were a Grant statue or Sherman statue they prob would honor it. People in the 1800s were state loyalists they were fighting for their state like people today fight for their country. Lee didn't believe in slavery but loved Virginia. WTF are people offended by his statue?
