That's been where my mental focus has been for the last few months... Preparing my mind to accept that I can't go back to the way I've lived my life up to now.

I understand and have read about people not changing their eating habits not having success after this surgery. I don't plan on adding my name to those kinds of statistics.

I'll do that. Thanks.

Did your doc have you lose any weight before the surgery? Mine won't schedule it until I lose 30-40 pounds. Says it is to give him room to work and to prove that I'm serious about it. Down 15 so far.

They didn't push me to do it. However I heard and was told by others who've had the surgery that it's needed. They didn't give me a # of pounds to lose but I lost almost 15 from. On day of last week.

The main reason for this is that it helps shrink your liver so that it's not in the way during the procedure.

I know of two people that had the surgery and it has been very successful for both of them. Completely transformed. Just stick to the new diet and consult a therapist if needed. My friend is a therapist that specializes in males with binge eating disorder in the New Orleans area.

Why not try the post-op eating lifestyle for a while before getting the surgery to see if you have the will to maintain it?

a lot of surgeons require patients to do it for about 30 days prior to surgery

I never knew you were morbidly obese. Good luck to you man.

P.S. Keep up with the creeper pics while recovering. I want to see some nurse titties.

Good luck

do you plan on getting the excess skin removed if you are successful in losing the weight? I know that is always a problems with massive weight loss that some people do not think about.
