re: New Orleans Police Officer shot dead - Sam Waterston
Unconfirmed through media, but a friend on the force said the subject had a gun on him that wasn't found during the arrest. Still lots up in the air on that. May have been the murdured officer was simply transporting this guy and the arresting officer missed it. Regardless, a full investigation into...

re: Doctors of the OT, unite. Pulled Groin - Sam Waterston
OK, that likely eliminates any type of labral tear, so the options remaining include sports hernia, simple pulled groin, etc. For right now, your PCP will say rest and NSAIDs and reevaluate in 2-3 weeks. Try that and then look into other things such as imaging, ortho visit, PT, etc. Good luck...

re: Doctors of the OT, unite. Pulled Groin - Sam Waterston
Ha, just got back to my computer and this was opened up. Try PT first, it's slow, but about 50% of sports hernias can be alleviated 100% by PT alone, plus you don't subject yourself to a surgery. It's a diagnosis of exclusion and typically can't be seen on imaging. The other big issue is the way...

re: Doctors of the OT, unite. Pulled Groin - Sam Waterston
Don't stretch it for a while. It's like purposefully pulling a pulled muscle which you don't want to do. Do a 7 day course of ibuprofen if your kidneys are good. Drink lots of water and give it time. It will heal, but depending on severity it may take a while. Does it pop and or do you feel it i...

Recovering photos from an iphone 6 - Sam Waterston
My wife has a 5-6 month old iphone 6 that the screen suddenly died. It'll light up, but not show anything else. She did not back up the photos onto the cloud or anything. Is there a way to recover these pics? Thanks...

re: Meniscus debridement post op question - Sam Waterston
Pretty much a physical exam and MRI. As for the cysts, if evacuated surgically, I wouldn't expect them to come back, but you never know. And if you've been inflamed in that knee a while, there could be some residual fluid from that giving the "squishy" feel. Knees are one of those things that if lef...

re: Meniscus debridement post op question - Sam Waterston
While some soreness can be seen, never mess with the knees, especially since you have a surgical history. There's no harm in having your ortho look at it/MRI. Edit: X-ray will not really show anything since it's likely soft tissue, only if there's some bony damage or significant inflammation ...

Not to take away from the topic, but what does the author imply by saying "visited the South" Who the hell says that? Edit: in relation to the actual topic, while I'm sure things can and do happen, as a parent, you take caution with things, but you are also not wanting to prohibit your child...
