CDaniel, good luck bro. One of my best friends had the surgery a year ago and it's not easy. The first week bad with spasms and he was very nauseated. But he has gone from 376 to 230 in a year. No we can't drink beer anymore together, hell he can't have any carbonated drinks at all. And we used to love hitting up wings and beer for games. But he is very healthy and no doubt he was on a path to an early death. It's worth it. Good luck to you.

just to add a bit of seriousness
remember that the surgery is just but one tool to help you get healthy and have a fulfilling life.
Don't forget to treat the reasons why you got to 400 pounds.
