If the band is successful why would they ever ask for cash before the gig?

this chick bumps a thread more than a month old that most people never saw and turns it into OT gold. Now thousands will see what maybe a dozen or so saw before... If anything she just exposed so many more people to why they should not book her.

You have a contract. You sue..
Who is in a greater position to be stiffed? the Person paying for the product before they get it or the person providing the product?
Person with the product has the leverage at any time when a deposit is in play.
