I would take #9 over the Pennington place any day. I would prefer a number of houses/properties that are more tasteful and not as ostentatious.

My favorite is the Ascantia Plantation. The entrance, ponds, and land is awesome. Couldnt tell you what the house looks like besides the little piece you can see from Highland.

yeah... i like that one too.... i miss passing all these homes everyday

but my favorite is the McKay's house.... the owner of All-Star dealerships and All-Star Homes... it's the big white brick, plantation style one on Highland before Lee, if coming from Kenilworth... love that house...

I had my hand in number 5. It was a shite box before renovations started. The house sat vacant for a couple years. There were snakes living in the walls. Had pink and white faux marble floor tile with black and gold marble columns thru ought the house. Orange painted kitchen walls with all black and gold kitchen faucets, nobs and appliances.

i have lots of family in Olla.... that's where this camp is?

Most of the camp is in Winn Parish and extends into Lasalle Parish around Beech Creek. The real impressive part is they have it entirely fenced.

I'm a fan of the old fashioned, Acadian style. I don't want any modern anything big fan of porches and bricks.

and the lighting, and the landscaping... it's all just well, well done...

don't care for the owner and his family that much, but their house is nice!
