Great timing. The last part of the HBO documentary airs tonight. The doc makers screwed him over, and he initiated the interviews in the first place. Worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

Can New Orleans not find a white wall for mugshots? This shite is ridiculous.

That's wild.
Wonder how long he's been in Nola

For the record, Durst has a trust fund worth between 44 and 65 million. He's not a billionaire.

I wonder if he did it all for the nookie.

Billionaire sounds more dramatic

Maybe he said something incriminating during the filming & the LA DA saw it?

The documentary maker found huge evidence that definitely proves it's him, but might be hard to incriminate him with. I will say what it is below.
SPOILER
SPOILER
They found a letter he sent to the woman people thought he killed in LA. The address on the front of the letter has identical handwriting to a the envelope mailed to Beverly Hills Police that simply told them the address and that there was a dead body in the house, even down to the misspelling of "Beverly" (which he spelled like "Beverley" on both letters). In tonight's episode, they will show him the letter. Should be interesting to see how he reacts.

They pretty much have him for the LA murder in 2000. It's going to be shown on the doc episode tonight. But I'm sure he'll walk if it goes to trial.

Looks like Arlo from Justified.

I figured the DA already knew about the letter. So you're sayin Jurecki was withholding evidence?
Posted on 3/15/15 at 10:33 am to Schmelly
No. This letter was with her step son in storage. The DA never saw it. Jurecki definitely doesn't go straight to the cops with the evidence. He thinks he can get things moving more quickly if he films it. Looks like he's right.

I found it interesting that the documentary director puts the letter in a safe deposit box. It should have been handed over to the police immediately. I am thinking Durst will lawyer up the second he figures out what is happening.
They only show it once but he has an attorney there during the interviews just off camera. It was the guy who comes over and tells Durst to be quiet because the mic he is wearing is on and recording while they are on a break. It catches Durst rehearsing what he plans to say on camera.

Soooooo, Jurecki was withholding evidence. That shite had to be filmed months ago

The whole point is to get him to react on camera when they show him the letter tonight. Frick that dude. It should be good.
