1) Baton Rouge

I really have no idea what the frick all of this means...but I have actually lived in two of the three cities that you mention...
Baton Rouge has LSU, so that bumps it above Jackson, IMO...however, traffic in BR is an absolute nightmare compared to Jackson and there are some damn nice suburbs around the jackson area..so the whole thing may wash out...
I have only been to montgomery for one night while attending a game at Auburn, so I can't really compare it to the others...

I've always said Montgomery is BR without LSU. No experience in Jackson, but I've spent tons of time in both BR and Montgomery. Very similar.

Driving through Jackson on I-20 makes me want to kill myself. It looks like Chernobyl.

Baton Rouge is shite but it's head and heels over both
Jackson proper suckkks but has much better metro than either others so it puts it second.

Baton Rouge is better than Jackson. A lot better. Don't know about Montgomery.

I dunno. I guess. There isn't a more dead city in the summer than Baton Rouge. It was so damn miserable. The falls can't be beat, but good lord the summers sucked.

Jackson (the city not the burbs) is the worst city in the south. Florence SC is the second worst with Mongomery in third. So I guess by default BR is the smartest retard on the list of utter shite holes.

At least there is a difference. Spring, summer, fall and winter are the same in Jackson. Shopping wise, BR has a lot more to offer. Plus daquiri shops.

Montgomery has a really nice Indian casino in Wetumpka
Other than that I never go to Montgomery.

Jackson is the least favorite city I have ever spent more than one day in. Baton Rouge does not have a lot going for it but LSU alone puts it above that shithole.
Montgomery is its own category of bad.

I spent 10 years trying to get back to Baton Rouge after I graduated. I was up for a job in Jackson and I figured I would just count down until I made a year and could move on

Having lived in BR for 9 years, Jackson for 16 (still here) and worked the last five years with two guys from Montgomery; I would go BR, Jackson, Montgomery.
LSU puts BR ahead by a bunch. I get the hate for Jackson but I'd rather drive Lakeland Drive any day compared to most of the major roads in BR. Additionally, an earlier post said you can't count the suburbs but for Jackson to be the size of BR you have to and there are some very nice suburbs around Jackson. And I live in Jackson "proper" not the burbs.
